A Message From MedMen About Your Health and Safety

On behalf of the entire MedMen family, we thank you for your trust and ongoing support. As we continue to monitor the COVID-19 pandemic, the health and safety of our customers and employees remains our first priority. In light of recent developments and communication from federal, state and local governments, we’d like to share an update on the status of our operations for customers who rely on cannabis products for their everyday well-being.

Are stores open?

Right now, we are open for business and continue to have a steady supply of product. We encourage you to order online for express pick up in-store or curbside. We also offer delivery where available.

For the safety of our customers and employees, we have shortened hours across many of our stores. Click here for up-to-date hours and to find what services are available at your nearest MedMen.

We’re implementing guidelines from The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention regarding important measures against the spread of COVID-19.

What is the best way to shop right now?

We strongly encourage our community to take advantage of online ordering for express pick up in-store at participating locations. We have a dedicated pick up area in-store for this service in order to get you in and out with minimal contact. For locations that are offering curbside pick up, we have designated areas where our associates can come and complete the purchase. We also have a waitlist service, which will notify you when you’re able to enter our store. We’re taking every precaution to make sure you’re safe.

As mentioned above, our stores are still open and we offer delivery in select locations. Please note we're seeing high demand in delivery so we appreciate your patience with us as there will be delays.

What precautions are store employees taking?

Our employees are required to wash their hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. Additionally, they are instructed to avoid touching their eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands. Should they cough or sneeze, they have been instructed to cover their mouths with a tissue or use the inside of their elbow and wash their hands. They are to deposit this tissue into the trash immediately.

On top of frequent hand washing, our employees will be using hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol; covering all surfaces of their hands before rubbing until dry. Hand sanitizer is provided in-store for all customers.

What measures are MedMen applying in-store?

Every 30 minutes, we’re cleaning and disinfecting all frequently touched surfaces including doorknobs, counter tops, ATM machines, debit card terminals, iPads, bud pods, and our point of sale terminals. We’re also cleaning workspaces frequently including the break rooms, restrooms, and our sales floor.

What is MedMen’s policy on face coverings?

For the well-being of our employees and community, we are requiring all customers to use face coverings when visiting our stores or picking up from our curbside service. Thank you for your cooperation.

What about social distancing in-store?

We’re using our best judgement to limit the number of customers, patients, and employees in our stores at one time on the sales floor. We’re ensuring a 6-foot distance is maintained when associates are helping customers in addition to maintaining that distance while customers are waiting outside to check-in or inside while waiting to pay.

How does curbside pick up work?

We’re offering this service at select stores in California: Abbot Kinney, Lincoln Boulevard, Santa Ana, Torrey Pines, DTLA, Kearny Mesa, LAX, Long Beach, West Hollywood, and Beverly Hills. Order online and wait for your confirmation email before heading over. Once you arrive, you can park either in the lot if there is one, or out in front. Give us a call and a sales associate will come out with your order. You do not have to get out of the car — simply present a valid I.D. and either a debit card or cash. Debit cards will be run through a point-of-sale cash register.

What should I do if I can’t find a spot out front?

Call the store and let us know that you have arrived. Due to traffic laws, we are unable to complete a transaction while you are double parked. We will call you back when someone is standing outside with your bag and ready to check you out.

What is the waitlist service?

We created this new feature to help promote safe social distancing measures. If there’s a line when you arrive at the door, you’ll be added to the waitlist by a store associate. After verifying your personal information at check-in, you’ll get a text message with your estimated wait time and place in line. Once we can accommodate you, you’ll get another text to return. You’ll show your ID for verification purposes and then enter.

Can I lose my place in line?

You’ll get multiple reminders to return and once you get back, you’ll be moved to the front of the line so that you can enter next.

What stores have this waitlist feature?

We will be offering this feature at the following stores: Abbot Kinney, Beverly Hills, DTLA, LAX, Long Beach, Santa Ana, Torrey Pines, West Hollywood, and Venice (Lincoln Boulevard). In Nevada it will also be offered in our Paradise location.

What if I placed an online pick-up order? Will I get priority in line?

Yes, online pick-up orders will receive priority. Upon arrival, please make sure to let the store associate know that you’ve placed an online pick-up order.

Have there been any changes to delivery service?

We’re offering delivery for customers, in certain areas, but we strongly encourage customers to order online for express pick up in-store as an expedited alternative. Please note that there will be wider delivery windows due to increased demand. We recommend ordering early to ensure same-day delivery. Please be patient with us as we strive to fulfill every order in a timely fashion.

Is delivery safe?

Absolutely. MedMen’s delivery service is fully owned and operated by MedMen. Our delivery drivers are MedMen employees and subject to the same training and testing as our store staff. Additionally, all the products offered via our delivery platform are subject to the maximum required testing and compliance standards.

All products released for delivery are sealed and pre-packaged to prevent contamination. MedMen delivery drivers utilize the same safety measures as our in-store teams.

Our delivery drivers use a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol between delivery orders. They clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces between customers, including the debit card terminals and point of sale terminals.
