It's the holidays. Are you cooking with cannabis this year? Well, we think the ultimate cookie deserves a new cut, don’t you?



Sweet Leaf Sugar Cookies
Makes about 2 dozen three-inch cookies

1 cup cannabis butter, room temperature 1 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 egg
2 teaspoons baking powder
1⁄2 teaspoon salt
2 1⁄2 cups all purpose flour, plus more for dusting completely

Preheat oven to 350° F.

In the bowl of an electric mixer, add cream, butter and sugar until smooth. Add vanilla and egg. Mix until combined. In a separate bowl, combine baking powder, salt and flour. Add gradually to the wet ingredients and mix until combined – dough will be crumbly.

Lightly knead dough until it comes together and take out half. Roll out on a sheet of parchment paper to 1⁄4-inch thick, lightly dusting with flour if dough gets too sticky. Press with a cannabis-shaped cookie cutter and carefully transfer cuts to a parchment lined baking sheet. Gather, knead together and re-roll any scraps. Bake 6-8 minutes.

Let cool 5 minutes on baking sheet before transferring to a rack to cool completely. Decorate as desired!

Holiday Eggnog

4 egg whites
4 egg yolks
15 oz white sugar
1 large pinch nutmeg
1 large pinch cinnamon
1 pinch clove
30 oz whole milk
20 oz heavy cream
1 oz Allspice dram
7 oz Ron Zacapa 23 yr
5 oz Appleton 12 yr
3 oz Rhum Clément VSOP
1 oz bottle of Peppermint CBD Oil (see below)

In a KitchenAid mixer, mix egg whites and half of the white sugar until stiff peaks are formed. Refrigerate and save. Combine all other ingredients and mix well in KitchenAid mixer. Slowly incorporate meringue into mix. Emulsify well on low speed. Keep refrigerated and serve chilled.

For peppermint CBD oil: Purchase a 1 oz. bottle of peppermint oil, readily available in the bakery section of most grocery stores. Pour a little off the top. Add 20 drops of Proof 20:1 CBD to THC ratio Cannabis Tincture, available at select MedMen stores. Return cap to peppermint oil bottle and shake vigorously to combine.

1 stick of butter
1/8 to 1/2 oz of dried cannabis flower
3/4 saucepan full of water

Preheat oven to 350° F.

Combine chocolate and butter in a pan and melt over low heat, stirring frequently. Remove from heat and cool for 5 minutes. Combine eggs, sugar, vanilla, and salt and stir well. Add to cooled chocolate and mix until combined. In a large bowl, stir together flour and baking powder. Add chocolate mixture and stir until just incorporated. Pour batter into a greased 8x8-inch baking pan and spread into an even layer. Bake 22-26 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean. Cool completely before slicing.
